MEDICAL AND SURGICAL CARE
At GVC, we pride ourselves on our “Excellent Patient Care” approach.This means that whilst we practice the highest standards of veterinary medicine and surgery, the individualized care for the animal comes first.
We take our time when interacting with our patients, we consider their physical and emotional needs – this could mean putting them in a private room away from other animals or giving them that extra stroke or cuddle to re-assure them – whatever it takes to make them feel comfortable and at ease with us. They receive our undivided one on one attention and are not just a number in our day.
Our team of vets and nurses are extremely compassionate and caring as well as having solid qualifications, training, and experience, which makes our medical team one of the best, if not THE best in the region.
We offer and perform the full range of medical and surgical procedures and investigations– far too many to mention here – and are happy to discuss in detail
any medical concerns you may have.
ANAESTHESIA
Many of our clients are concerned about their pet undergoing anaesthesia or sedation.
We have extremely high standards when it comes to anaesthesia, especially as Dr Katrin, our clinic owner, holds the RCVS certificate in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia. We recommend and routinely run pre-anaesthetic blood profiles and use the best in anaesthetic drugs, protocols, and monitoring equipment.
