Dr Helen is passionate about being a veterinarian and approaches all aspects of her vocation with fantastic dedication and compassion. With a broad experience in treating many small animal species, especially cats and dogs.

Dr Helen developed a special interest in Feline medicine and behavior, demonstrated by achieving the ISFM 2-year Advanced Diploma in Feline Behaviour. Combining naturally with this qualification is a passion for pain management, and the prestigious WVAG Foundation in Western Veterinary Acupuncture course that Dr Helen has also completed alongside being a Level 3 Certified Fear Free Professional, adding these highly valuable skills and expertise to her extensive repertoire!

Dr Helen graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2007 and worked in the UK for six years before moving to Abu Dhabi in 2013. Where, with a further six years of UAE experience, Dr Helen originally joined GVC in early 2019 adding her fantastic knowledge, energy and enthusiasm to the GVC team. In 2021, post Covid, Dr Helen and her family returned to the UK and another couple of years working in a busy, small animal practice. However, and very happily for GVC, the allure of Abu Dhabi was irresistible with a return to the UAE in 2024 and to GVC shortly after.

When not being an inspiring veterinarian, Dr Helen enjoys days at the beach or park with her family and their wonderful dog.
