Sarah graduated from the University of Queensland in 2010.
She then went on to work in mixed practice for a year before moving to Western Australia to complete a 5-year period working in a large Emergency and Critical Care hospital. During this time, she gained her Membership exams to the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Emergency and Critical Care.
Sarah has been in the UAE since 2016 and worked for a clinic in Dubai before joining us at GVC in January 2018.
Her main passions lie with emergency medicine and critical care as well as preventative healthcare, which makes her perfectly suited to working at GVC due to the complex and varied caseloads that we see.
When I asked her what she absolutely loves about being a vet, the list was endless, but what it ultimately boils down to is that Sarah absolutely adores the animals she works with and wants to make sure that they and their owners can live a happy and harmonious life together.
In her spare time, Sarah loves downhill mountain biking as well as travel, exploring the UAE and planning new adventures to go on!
Sarah has 2 gorgeous cats, Jimmy and Waffle, who are both rescue cats. She has had Jimmy since he was 2 weeks old and hand reared him herself. Waffle was abandoned in Dubai and Sarah said she simply fell in love with her!
