Dr. Katrin

Dr. Katrin is the owner and general manager of the GVC. She was trained in Germany and then moved to the UK, where she worked in various areas of the veterinary profession before moving to the UAE some years ago. She has a specialist qualification in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Pain Control, a subject in which she lectured at Liverpool University for some years. Dr. Katrin has a special interest in all things feline and is the nominated advocate for the for the “Cat Friendly Clinic” scheme. She is also very keen to support various animal charities in the UAE and is currently working closely with “Sandy Paws”. Dr Katrin also has experience in equine veterinary medicine and is registered with the UAE Equine Federation and is able to issue FEI passports and vaccinations.
